The paper presents the preliminary design of urban and architectual concept of spa and hotel complex on the shore of Palić Lake, that was conducted as part of a competition organized by Park Palić in cooperation with Serbian Chamber of Engineers in November 2013. The specifics of project programme and ambiental conditions of the site, have influenced the definition of the concept, in which all levels and elements of urban and architectural setting are based on the respect for the legacy of natural resources. The final result is reflected in complete synergy of the whole architectural structure and its parts, and existing environmental qualities of the complex.

Economic transformation in the Republic of Serbia caused significant changes in the structure and needs of companies. Architecture must inevitably follow the emergence of a large number of small and medium enterprises. New architectural structures are formed with a large number of functions. One of these facilities is business and manufacturing center “FAZI” in Nis. Through review and analysis of this building recommendations for the design of such facilities can be established.
